長野県飯田市にある天竜峡。飯田市を代表する観光地です。天竜川の浸食によって造りだされた、南北約2kmにわたる峡谷の美しい景観で、秋には紅葉もきれいです。
JR飯田線 天竜峡駅からすぐ近くで遊歩道を散策すると、四季折々の峡谷美を手軽に楽しむことができます。
奇岩・断崖と松が水墨画のような景観の天龍峡中心部
Tenryukyo Gorge, located in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture, is one of Iida City’s most famous tourist destinations. Carved by the erosion of the Tenryu River, the gorge stretches approximately 2km from north to south, and is a beautiful sight in autumn, with beautiful autumn foliage.
A stroll along the footpath just a short distance from Tenryukyo Station on the JR Iida Line allows you to easily enjoy the beauty of the gorge throughout the seasons.
The central area of Tenryukyo Gorge, with its strangely shaped rocks, cliffs, and pine trees, resembles a sumi-e painting.
龍角峯 特徴的な奇岩や淵など10ヶ所に漢詩になぞらえた名が付され、
十勝（じっしょう）と呼ばれている

吊り橋 揺れますが景色は格別です。
The suspension bridge sways, but the view is exceptional.
岸壁は迫力があります。周辺は遊歩道が整備されていますので、散策はしやすいです。ただ、上り下りや階段のような場所もあるので、高齢の方はちょっと厳しい場所もあります。
The cliffs are impressive. There are walking paths around the area, so it’s easy to stroll around. However, there are some areas where you have to go up and down stairs, so it might be a bit difficult for older people.
最寄駅はJR飯田線 天竜峡駅で散策路までは、徒歩5分もかからないと思います。
The nearest station is Tenryukyo Station on the JR Iida Line, and it takes less than 5 minutes on foot to the walking trail.

Around Tenryukyo Station on the JR Iida Line
はっきり言って天竜峡駅周辺は、お土産屋さん、飲食店がちょっと寂しいです。昔ながらのお店といった感じです。田舎に来た感じは十分味わえます。
天竜峡周辺からちょっと歩きますが、いま観光客に人気なのが「そらさんぽ」です。
三遠南信自動車道天龍峡大橋の下を通る遊歩道が「そらさんぽ」です。
To be honest, the souvenir shops and restaurants around Tenryukyo Station are a little deserted. They have a traditional feel to them. You can still get a real rural feel.
It’s a bit of a walk from the Tenryukyo area, but Sora Sanpo is a popular spot among tourists these days.
Sora Sanpo is a promenade that runs under the Tenryukyo Bridge on the San’en-Nanshin Expressway.

「そらさんぽ」橋の真下が遊歩道になっていますので、景色はバッチリです。

そらさんぽのすぐそばが 三遠南信自動車道 天龍峡パーキングになっています。中央自動車道の飯田山本インターから天竜峡パーキングまでつながってます。
Right next to Sora Sanpo is the Tenryukyo Parking on the San’en-Nanshin Expressway. It connects the Iida-Yamamoto Interchange on the Chuo Expressway to Tenryukyo Parking.

天竜峡パーキングはトイレだけ！だだっ広いです。結構、車好きやライダー、観光バスが来るのにもったいない場所です。
将来に向けてもっと、飲食店などを呼び込んで集客した方が経済的にもいいかと思います。
周辺の駒ケ根市や阿智村などは、観光の集客をうまくやってるのに、何をやってるんだ飯田市！
今までの飯田市の動向を見ても今後も駄目だと思います。
Tenryukyo Parking only has toilets! It’s so spacious. It’s a shame that so many car enthusiasts, motorcyclists, and tourist buses come here.
Looking towards the future, I think it would be more economical to attract more restaurants and other businesses to attract customers.
Nearby cities like Komagane and Achi are doing a good job of attracting tourists, so what is Iida City doing?!
Looking at Iida City’s past trends, I don’t think it will work out in the future.
