“God Save the Queen” is a tribute band officially endorsed by Queen.
“クイーン”が公認するトリビュートバンド「God Save the Queen」のライブに行ってきました。
なぜか、2025年7月に長野県上田市、大阪、東京の3か所で日本ツアーが行われました。
長野県上田市の サントミューゼ 大ホール（上田市交流文化芸術センター）で行われました。
アリオ上田のすぐそばでした。
I went to a live concert by God Save the Queen, a tribute band officially endorsed by Queen.
For some reason, they toured Japan in July 2025, performing in three cities: Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, Osaka, and Tokyo.
The concert was held at the Santo Museo Grand Hall (Ueda City Cultural Arts Center) in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture.
It was right next to Ario Ueda.

開演前は中高年層の人が多いかなーと思っていましたが、ボヘミアン・ラプソディ (映画)の影響もあり若い人も結構来ていました。
開演時間と共にすごい盛り上がりを見せていました。往年の名曲、ボヘミアン・ラプソディ (映画)の中の曲は、ほとんど演奏してくれました。
Before the show started, I thought the audience would be mostly middle-aged and older, but thanks to the influence of the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, there were quite a few young people in attendance as well.
The excitement built as the show began. They played almost all of the classic songs from the movie Bohemian Rhapsody.
しかも、なんと！開演中スマホでの撮影がOKとの館内放送があり、ほとんどの人が動画も撮影していました。
グループ全員の演奏もうまかったですし、ボーカルの歌声、仕草がほんとにフレディ・マーキュリーに似ていて、伝説の番組50年近く前の「ぎんざNOW」の洋楽コーナーを思い出して、感動しました。
What’s more, an announcement was made in the venue that it was OK to take photos with smartphones during the show, and most people were taking videos as well.
The whole group played really well, and the vocalist’s voice and mannerisms really resembled Freddie Mercury, which reminded me of the Western music segment on the legendary show “Ginza NOW” from nearly 50 years ago, and it was moving.
とにかく、50年近くたった今も名曲の数々がラジオ、ＣＭ、テレビなどで頻繁に流されるのは凄すぎます。当時奇抜なファッションのクィーンは50年先を行っていたのかと思うと、やっぱり素晴らしい歴史に残るアーティストだったんですね。たぶん100年先もみんなに感動を与え続けるんでしょう。
It’s amazing that even after nearly 50 years, her classic songs are still frequently played on radio, in commercials, and on TV. When you think about how the eccentric fashion queen of her time was 50 years ahead of her time, she was truly an incredible artist who will go down in history. She’ll probably continue to inspire people for another 100 years.
また日本に来日してほしいです。ぜひまたライブに行きます。
